Writing Assignment Design

Instructors often approach us with questions concerning how to incorporate writing into their disciplinary assignments or how to create a sequence of writing assignments in the Rhetoric and Composition classroom.  This workshop is designed to answer those concerns.  We work on a case-by-case basis and provide assignment examples and writing pedagogy to help instructors brainstorm and implement writing principles into their own classes without overwhelming themselves or their students.

As this workshop is developed on a case-by-case basis, we generally create materials on demond.  However, the following resources might help you with assignment ideas or familiarize yourself with writing terminology and associate it with the terminology of your discipline.
