WID workshops and discussions
These workshops are offered for faculty in the disciplines who are designing and teaching courses in the majors.
April 30, 10:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.,Writing in the Disciplines, morning session with Nancy Sommers of Harvard, Broyhill Conference Center. To sign up for this meeting, contact Kelly Edge Terzaken, ke75472). The day's activities are open to those teaching writing at the junior and senior levels; the morning session is also open to those teaching composition.
This Spring, Georgia Rhoades will also visit departments and work with faculty in developing and teaching junior level writing and capstone courses. If you would like to arrange such a visit, please contact her. This spring, WAC is offerring a series of workshops for faculty in the disciplines on integrating their courses with Eng 2001 and in process writing strategies.
